THE "Who We Were" SERIES

The series gets back to  "Who We Were" and life in early Florida. These historical stories will be presented quarterly and are sponsored by the Jefferson County Historical Association, the Chamber of Commerce in Monticello and the Aucilla Research Institute, and funded by a grant from the Florida Humanities.

Cindy Roe Littlejohn is the first in a series of speakers that will be sharing their family history about the early days of settlement in the Jefferson County area of Florida. Cindy has written a book called "Palmetto Pioneers" about her early family and what life was like back in the early 1820's. She is sharing her family story as will other local families about their early beginnings in the Jefferson County area. Palmetto Pioneers Book
The "Who We Were" presentations are funded by a grant from the Florida Humanities and brought to you by the Jefferson County Historical Association and the Aucilla Research Institute in Monticello, Florida.
